Kids: Small Groups

January 10th, 2018

$0

We want your kids to know that living in community is important from a young age.

That's why each week in Kids Small Groups, your child will not only learn a story from the Bible, but will also build friendships with a consistent group of kids from their grade and a leader that loves them and wants to encourage them in their faith.

Each week, your child will have a place to belong as they learn a lesson from the Bible, memorize key scriptures, play games that reinforce lesson applications, and pray for the others in their group.

Kids Small Groups meet weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00 - 7:15 PM starting on January 10. Groups are available for kids in Kindergarten through 5th Grade and registration is FREE!

If you would like, you can purchase a NIrV Adventure Bible for your child when you register. As a part of Small Group, your child will be encouraged to continue learning and studying the Bible at home.

Kids: Start Here

February 4th, 2018

An event for kids (and their parents!) who are asking questions about salvation and baptism.

We want to be present for the significant moments in our child's life.

First steps. First day of school. First ballgame.

But what about when kids have their first questions about faith? Come to an event that will help you begin a conversation about what it means to follow Jesus.

We will go over what salvation and baptism are (and aren't), and why they are each important. And all in a way that kids can understand. After the class, you, the parent, will be given a conversation guide to help you better understand whether your child is ready to make a decision to follow Jesus and get baptized.

Baptism - February 18

February 18th, 2018

We are SO excited that you are considering getting Baptized!

Wondering why do it? Here’s just a few reasons.

Baptism doesn’t make you a Christian. Faith in Jesus is what makes you a Christian. However, Baptism is a sacrament of the church that is very important for several reasons.

First of all, it is an act of obedience. Being a follower of Christ means living life in obedience to Him. Jesus himself said that disciples (or followers of Christ) should be baptized (Matthew 28:19-20).

Secondly, Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Christ that illustrates the death, burial, and resurrection of our Savior (Romans 6:4). It is an outward sign of an inward commitment to Jesus.
